It was a grey old day and the wind was a Sou-Easter and the waves were a mess. As I stood on the dunes I watched the faces of those dashing from their cars in the hope the wind wasn’t on it, but as they saw the clouds and the chaotic white peaks they let out a sigh, most turned to head home but a few die-hards headed out to nab a couple.
Footy on the beach was a good option and there were plenty of walkers and runners. I was happy to be shooting rather than battling the wind-swell, the grey skies and heavy clouds had so much contrast, there were great angles in every direction.
